Hi! Previous in my working life I have seen Ethernet to TTL modules which did work great but I can't remember the name. Any one having any good tips for a good working board mounted Ethernet/TCP-IP module? |

Wiznet is the one used by the official Arduino Ethernet shield. https://www.wiznet.io/product/ |

I second the suggestion for a Wiznet chip. I do recommend though that for any professional product to put the on the PCB itself and not use a module. I'm not impressed by the layout of the module boards I have seen so far. With some care two layers are more than enough to create a good design using one of the WIznet chips. |

Thank you all! I will go with the Wiznet chip. Then I also have the option of just take great inspiration from that layout arduino use. I did find the module I had worked before with: LANTRONIX but they are not low cost.... :( |
