low density esd foam

Hi
I just bought some ESD foam mats for DIP ICs, or so I thought.
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/3-5-10mm-ESD-Anti-Static-High-Density-Foam-Antistatic-Insertion-200x200mm-Black/282886584062?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=582415070630&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
The stuff is way too dense, the pins bend before the chip goes in. I am used to foam that has larger bubbles and is crumbly, chips go in with very little force.
What terms should I look for?
(Why yes, I had so much of the good stuff that it lasted me decades. Now it's actually decaying so I need more and forgot what to look for)

You want 'open cell' or 'low density' ESD foam.
I see some there on ebay, and as is usually the case, some stuff that is called high density has pictures of the open cell low density stuff.
You might have to go by the pictures to get what you want.

I think I bought some of that harder stuff a while back. I've never been sure it's actually any kind of ESD foam. It smells and feels like any other regular foam and I unfortunately don't have the kit to test it properly.
