need to connect 2 boards , actually my kicad project, in vertical like a sandwich , any hints for connector 50 pins(2x25) through hole
that keep the boards atleast 2 inch space (connector pcb1 - extender connection  - connector pcb2) ?

soldar:
How about using ribbon cable with IDE-type connectors?

Hi , no need to disconnect and save space too , inside pcb area
something like this ..but more space :

There are lots of options for this.  You can go with traditional headers like those, if you need higher density than normal 2.54mm headers, you can go to the half size, 1.27mm which is still pretty common.  You can also look into mezannine connectors, which are what are typical for very low profile, high speed board to board interconnects.

Maybe have a search around digikey or your preferred distributor to see what is available and then look around to find the best price.

FPC ribbons and connectors go up to 80 pins and beyond, and down to as little as 0.2mm pitch. They can get pricey at the smaller sizes. Probably not what you had in mind, but in case you're ever in a pinch.
