So I go to a PCB that I have had for ages but have never fully populated.... the intention is for a P-channel MOSFET to act as a high side switch to power on/off an external peripheral. Install a NDS332P which I have lying around (I never marked the actual part number on the schematic!) and then notice that the schematic has an N-channel (!) so now my footprint is wrong. where D is I need S, where S is I need D and G is correct.
Bodged by standing it up, the wrong way up with a wire from the D to the pad. :palm:
Seems to work though!
