Can anyone help with a contact at Behringer?
« on: August 26, 2019, 10:22:13 pm »
I need them to fix a bug in a couple products, and their web-based support is not responsive.  Can anyone give me a person I can talk to?  Thanks.

Take into consideration that they may not be interested.

Wait, wait, I joke right?   You want support from Behringer?   :-DD

The problem is they are know for taking other brands low-end products and reverse engineering them and making them with even cheaper components.   If there is a bug, then they most likely copied that bug from someone else.

I do have to say that people have bought a ton of the X32 mixers, mainly because they are so cheap.   A rental house doesn't have to worry about a show out the desert getting gear full of sand, they will scrap a X32 before having it fixed.

I got a couple of good Behringer stories when the gear sonic shit the bed.   Nasty nasty stuff.

Here's a funny quote from the brochure for the Ampeg "inspired" Bugera BVV3000 amp:

Quote
When it comes to all-valve tone, functionality and versatility, the BUGERA BVV3000 INFINIUM is the value leader in its class—and its chest-pounding output keep the dance floor busy at a price that will keep you smiling. Or, you could spend a whole lot more and get an amp from that company whose name rhymes with “Damp Leg”. The choice is yours.

I mean I get that companies pay attention to each others designs, but Ive always remembered that quote as hilariously unsubtle.
