Can anyone ID this vintage potentiometer

(1/1)

dorkshoei:
I was repairing an old CGA monitor (Thomson 4020) and managed to break off one of the control potentiometers when trying to fit the pcb back into the case ;-(

It's marked "7f 503".   Schematics confirm 50k which is consistent with the 503.

Anyone know the manufacturer?  There are 6 adjusters and I'd prefer to keep them all the same;  I popped the knurled shaft off the broken potentiometer so if I can find a 50k in the same series,  even if the shaft is a different length,  I can get it working.

Does https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Amphenol-Piher/PT15NV02-503A2020-S?qs=sGAEpiMZZMvygUB3GLcD7usKL8k3H%252BdSD61QApuMA%252BWxy1COaSwzcw%3D%3D fit your dimensions?

Shaft seems a little wider, but you might be able to shim that.

Thanks.   Looks like it might need some modification but worth a shot.

Still curious if anyone knows the manufacturer of the original piece.
