can anyone identify this connector?

before bothering to model and 3d print a female connector for the attached male connector anyone know whether anyone sells female (or pairs) of this connector?



i am not sure if its 4 or 8 pin, as it might just be a common pin for each side of the 4 grooves

Looks very much like the USB connector on some of the older cheap generic MP3 players e.g. https://www.pchub.com/juye-serial-data-port-jack-usb-special-usb-mini-4p-p114822

You used to be able to get cables from Amazon, usualy called "Mini-B 4 pin" or "Mini 4P", but a quick search didn't immediately throw anything up.

its the "output connector" on the protech calipers from jaycar

the only difference I can see with the usb-mini-4p connector is it seems to have 2 grooves on the flat side, but it gives me somewhere to start, thank you
