Title: Can someone help me with TI UAF42, programmable active filter?
Post by: rwgast_lowlevellogicdesin on November 21, 2015, 07:26:59 pm
I just got one of these guys pretty pricey but I am having a hard time understanding the datasheet

http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/uaf42.pdf (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/uaf42.pdf)

Basically I am just wondering what the usable frequency range of this thing is, the only thing I see in there is noise = nv times the square root of hertz or something. Basically Im just looking for some piratical information. Can this be used for RF? I mean if I wanted a programmable  antenna filtering front end would this part work? Or how about something like LO/IF filtering? I guess im just really trying to figure out what the frequency limits of this thing is. :/ this is kind of an exotic part I hope someone knows a little bit about it

Frequency range is 0-100 kHz according to the datasheet.
