Can you use two IR2113 to control brushed motors?

    I know it's a bit of a stupid question but I saw this https://easyeda.com/GreatScott/IR2113_H_Bridge-09ef385286f74867988316035c669a17 schematic used as a driver for a high frequency wireless charger. The fact that the driver is designed to be used with N channel transistors made me wonder if I could repurpose it and use it to adjust the speed of a 12 V motor with a maximum current draw of about 2A  (with the help of PWM and an Arduino Uno). I've tried using  the ubiquitous L289N and I think it's clear to everyone that I was experiencing huge power loss and my case calls for maximum efficiency.
    Unfortunately I'd never had to design motor drivers before. My first attempt was a huge flop and it only seemed to be exacerbating the power loss, this time due to the shoot through, not the ancient chip.
Thus far, I've modified the schematic a bit -  I've added 4 fly back diodes for the motor, I've removed the 555 Timer and I have added a SN74HC14 Schmitt Inverter to invert the input signal at one of the low side. When I tried building it yesterday nothing seemed to work, even though I tested it just by connecting LIN and HIN to 5 V or GND. The current schematic: https://imgur.com/a/97DnxW8
