Case (38x22x8 cm) for my project?
« on: June 08, 2020, 05:23:56 am »
Hi everyone,

I started my corona project a few months back and am making good progress. Now I am at a stage where I am thinking about final looks and a case for the thing. Am quite naive when it comes to case design and am hoping to get a couple of pointers here that lead me in the right direction. What I am looking for is a simple case like this (attached) what I have come up with in Fusion 360.

Now that I have a shape, I am looking for a cost effective way to derive engineering drawings so that I can get 10 pcs done via Alibaba and possibly more later down the line. Price point should defs be below $20 per piece delivered to Germany, anodised Aluminium is a humble hope of mine, plus engraving on the front and back. Is this reasonable?

I imagine this being a rather standard problem and appreciate your input to get me over this final hump.

I suggest you get a 3D print first to make sure that everything fits the way you want.
