Cheap Audio codec suggestion
« on: August 19, 2019, 06:59:06 pm »
Hi,
I want to build an audio mixer for a hobby project, It would have at least 8-16 audio input channels, and about the same audio outputs, I  think the CS4344 is very cheap and good candidate for the DAC part, but for the ADC part's I want something in sub 1$ price, I prefer I2S and If it can handle line in and a MIC it would be very nice.

Do we have Chinese Codec manufacturers? what are the cheap options out there? a single channel codec is perfect,

Note: I plan to do all the DSP with a GOWIN  FPGA or use a cheap CortexM4 on each channel.

Any Ideas are welcome
