WiFi-Audio-Device Idea.

Hi,
I own a Spark Photon, and some ESP8266 Modules.
And I noticed that they have an I2S interface.
Also there exist I2S Amps (IS31AP2121, TAS5713).
So i guess it might be possible to create a DLNA (or AirPlay) Device with such Chips and Modules.
Sadly i'm not an electrical engineer, i'm a software engineer.
Does anyone have a clue about simple Modules to build a Hardware Prototype and then write the software and so on?
