Audio out circuit for cellular device
« on: May 24, 2013, 12:48:25 pm »
I want to have a 'universal' audio output (akin to the headphone output on an MP3 player etc) from a cellular module.

Module here: http://uk.farnell.com/huawei/mg323-b/gsm-modem-huawei-quadband-lcc/dp/2305903

The module can apparently drive an 16 ohm impedance headset directly, but I wonder if this could be an issue if someone wanted to plug in anything else, as they might do to an MP3 player's output.

I am thinking it may be possible to use a couple of op-amps to simply buffer the output? Is it that simple or am I way off?
