concept from scratch for a camera slider
« on: February 12, 2020, 08:10:12 am »
Hi,

I just finished building the hardware for a camera slider. I need it to record timelapse videos. The slider should move e.g. 1cm wait 5min take a photo, repeat, etc.
Attached a first plan for the control.
I was thinking of using a samd21 of an arduino zero and also program it with the arduino ide.
In the final stage I would like to control it with a remote, maybe connected with rfm95 or nrf24 modules.
I'm considering using a DS3231 or the internal rtc of the samd, for driving the dc gear motor a l298n
What do you think of the concept (flow diagram)? Is such a diagram usually more detailed or what can I improve? Usually I just started to program but thought it would be a good idea to draw a plan first.
