Connecting separate charging/discharging wires to common port BMS

Hi!

I am upgrading my ebike's BMS, but the BMS I want has common port for charging and discharging. My old BMS was a separate port dummy BMS.

Can I connect existing separate wires (load and charging) to the common port of the BMS? I think it could work, but I want to be 100% sure.  :)
