Connection to Electrodes on Glass
<< < (2/2)

I do have the full assembly, but I disassembled it.  :)

I don't want to connect to pads on a PCB, but rather connect to wires (I don't want a PCB behind the screen), so that's why I'm looking for an alternate connection method.

Z-Axis tape to a flex cable may work.

That sounds way less tedious and error prone than my plan.  I'll give it a try, thanks!

conductive epoxy

Conductive epoxy/glue was one of my first thoughts too!  I think the 1mm pitch may make that a bit challenging to do though, so I'm going to try z-axis tape first (which is new to me, but looks awesome).  Maybe some non-conductive epoxy over the top if it needs more mechanical strength.
