Single Point to Multi Point Communication

Dear All,

i'm looking to design a single point to multi point communication with single wire referenced to GND ( fly-by ( daisy chain)  or tree (star) )  that works if possible with 1MHz.

Did somebody tried to build this and has a suggestion?

I think it would be great if we have a line or cable driver on booth host side and slave side, but i'm not Shure if this kind of IC exists ?

Also what do you think it is better to go with DC or AC coupled ?

The signal that will be transmitted from host to slave is  PWM like signal but can have pause between the 1MHz burst eg. __|▔|_|▔|_|▔|_______|▔|_|▔|_|▔|__
