hi all,ive a kenwood DCS-8200,also a tek 453 scopes,both 50mhz,just wondered wha the differences are to use these,sort of a comparison,any ideas,i havent a clue,cheers in advance,m3vuv

453 is an older scope, still using tube rectifiers for HV.
The rest is transistors. Doesn't even use integrated circuits.
Some early versions used Nuvistor tubes as well.
Kenwood is a far more modern thing.
Has an ADC, can store data and display it on the screen as well as performing many other things.
But otherwise it also works as a normal analog scope.
