Title: CVBS to YPbPr converter
Post by: supernudo on April 03, 2013, 01:57:47 pm
Hi everybody!

I'm designing a video signal converter (as a part of a bigger system) that converts from CVBS to YPbPr format. I'm looking for a integrated solution. I know that there are commercial products in the market for that purpose, but I haven't any for teardown.

Does anybody know some thing about?

Thank you very much in advance!

Ycrcb. .. Ok . Yprpb.. Not so easy... The progressive scan is the killer... Cvbs is by nature i terlaced....
Most commonly done using specialistic chips. . Look at micronas. They have digitizers for many formats.

Thank you free_electron, your advice was very useful.

I've found a possible solution using VP32xx + DDP3310B chips.

Cheers!
