| Datasheet for Chinese Parts? |
| (1/1) |

Hi All I bought a bluetooth module off off Aliexpress, and it works fine. See attached picture. One quirk is that when it powers up, it announces that it's ready to connect AT FULL VOLUME and that's a tad annoying. I tried to find a datasheet on the bluetooth module to see if there's a way to configure it / control it with an external micro so it's not going full tilt at power on. Looking at the picture attached it shows the chip is a AC1713APOZ235-5AB. Eyeballing the one I have and the chip is a AS17AP15503, both with the same 'JL' (I think) logo on them. So, long story short, any ideas where I can get data on these chips? Thanks All, Simon |

Sometimes looking for data for obscure Asian parts trying to buy the same on Aliexpress or Alibaba find suppliers and then generally links to datasheets. Often these parts haven't migrated to the west so often that's your best and only option option. |

There was a thread a few months ago about making some talking module stop talking, but it may have been a different module with different chips. As for Chinese datasheets, even if you find them, they will likely be in Chinese. That being said, I found Google translator to actually be quite effective at translating datasheets these days, handling even things like "8-bit bus buffer with tri-state outputs" :scared: |

I did some digging on the JL logo a few years ago: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/need-help-to-identify-this-chip/ Unfortunately half those links are dead and the manufacturer's site itself has moved to http://www.zh-jieli.com/ No sign of an AC1713 nor AS17AP on their site, however. I suspect it could be a clone of a more well-known brand, you could try tracing the pinouts. |
