I did a little project tonight (late evening in sweden)
A diode bridge do get DC for my LEDS
Of course im using the colour of christmas... blue..

Nice project.
I have to disagree with you about blue being the colour of Christmas: red yes, so it yellow but not blue!

hehe..
I just got a shipment of blue led's so they were close to hand..
but as you can see in the project post on my site, I made it so I can easily change the Led's to any kind around 3V
