Arduino perf shields based on Ben Wang's perf+2
« on: May 18, 2017, 06:15:09 am »
I designed an Arduino shield based on the perf+2 perf footprint.  I may be making additional shields, capes, etc. if they are popular.  The project is up on hackaday https://hackaday.io/project/22000-perf-shields

KiCAD source files are at https://github.com/FyberLabs/perfplusplus

I put most of the first batch up at https://www.tindie.com/products/Fyberlabs/arduino-perf-shields/.  I am not sure if there is enough interest, but hopefully they sell.  If there are is any request for a specific platform or improvements let me know.  I will be adjusting the design a little for the next batch.  The 1.1mm through-hole seems a bit large, I plan to shrink it by a mil or two and increase the solder bridge distance.  I will remove the perfs near the connectors so that they are easier to solder with connectors attached.  It will give some space to add silkscreen info on how they attach to the connectors better too.
