VR 55V
« on: July 13, 2018, 03:36:21 am »
Hello,

So I'm in process of building amplifier .... First brick would be a voltage regulator .... here one below , with trigger current protection ( when you crank it, amp will just turn off, a nice annoying feature :)  )

opamp : MC34071, Photocoupler PC817  (channels are independent and protection turn off a second ch over opto , psu dual, with equal VR, so VP then common ground)

board 1 channel:

trigger reaction on overload:

Questions:
Is the  reaction time for triggering overload are sufficient (to avoid damage) ?
Is the way to improve the reaction time ?
any suggestion in overall ?
