Test Jig to Test Relay D1D40
« on: May 28, 2019, 05:18:16 am »
Hello All,

I'm very new to this forum and still working out my electronics skills in  designing.

Can some one please help me to build a circuit to test a Solid State Relay unit D1D40.

Have a circuit with  - SPDT switch and 4 LED (companied with ressitors)and then used 8 x 180Ohm Resistors at the load end of D1D40 relay which get very hot upon operation and i want to come up with a solution for this problem .

Please see  4 LED are used  for below purposes in my circuit-

1st LED - Power ON indication
2nd LED - to indicate whether the Relay is Active
3rd LED - to indicate Fail open
4th LED - to indicate FAIl Closed

BUt i need something simple but everything covered.
Kindly suggest

Thanks

Please don't post the same text twice, it really annoys people.
