I just got confused. Could you post a link to the schematic of the current limiter you're talking about? Thanks!
The current sense resistor is a very low value resistor (less than 1 ohm) that is in series with the output.

It's an ATX supply modified with adjustable voltage and current limiting with a display. Cool. Now I only need some function generator and I will save around 150 bucks.

I think it has no limiter. The creator says there will be one on the next version.
