Gear VR + Arduino Robot with camera

Hello,
I am new to developing VR apps to work with microcontrollers, but here is basically what I want to do.
I will have a basic arduino (don't have to be, it can be any controller) mobile robot with a camera attached to it. I want to view that camera feed in Gear VR as a big screen. When I turn my head, the screen will follow as well. At the same time the robot will turn. I can control the robot from inside the VR with the controller. In VR I will be able to see other parameters of the robot as well, like battery percents, etc. I planned to develop such an app with Unity but don't know where to start.
