Title: Do you know of a part like this? Double sided socket for 0.025" square post...

Hi,

What I'd like is one of these with the socket on both sides.  Does anyone make such a thing?

I could probably make some by cutting two of these apart and soldering them together with a pin, etc., but I'd like to find a part that is like this to begin with if possible...

Thanks,

Alan

So, a gender changer?  Could tack a pair of PCB mounted sockets together back to back?  (Mind the pinout doesn't get mirrored in the process!).

The connector-oriented solution would be a wire-to-wire style connector with not much length, but still made out of wires.  Such things are going to tend to be custom made though.  No idea if you'll be able to find one off the shelf for whatever type housings you need it for.

Assuming it's for a housing of pins type connector, anyway... you didn't say.. do you really need just a single pin?  It might exist, dunno...
