Electronic load analog part

Hi guys,
            I tried to build a Electronic load . I have attached the analog part of the schematic. My question is how do i calculate the damping factor of the analog part and damping resistors for pulse load.

Why are there so many op-amps? Normally only one is required to ensure the voltage across the sense resistor, matchs the reference. If the reference voltage is too high, then add a potential divider to attenuate it.

What is a 'damping factor of an analog part'? And what is a 'damping resistor'?
