Title: Dum dum de Dum

I recently bought some components from Digikey.  Tonight when looking at BBCs website I see a Digikey advertisement for Rohm IMX8T108 dual SMT transistor.

I am mildly curious, so I click on it and get to the datasheet.  Each page of the datasheet says "Not recommended for new designs." :-DD

Ads circulating through various ad pushing rings sometimes have a little relation with real situation. Though it can be that Digikey simplly wants to get rid of old stock.

The Amazon app on my phone is telling me to prepare for Halloween. Seems a bit early for that, when Christmas is approaching.
