Title: Ebike battery challenge Panasonic NKY397B2 NKY352B2
Post by: Flans on September 07, 2022, 11:28:35 am

For my ebike akku I made a new battery pack. I have converted the Panasonic BMS but the battery will not charge. The pack is nicely balanced, NTCs are in order. When the battery pack is connected to the charger there is no error message but also does not charge. It seems that the BMS firmware is not booting (correctly). Does anyone have a suggestion how I can solve this?

You "converted" the panasonic BMS, what does that mean?
Did you take the BMS from the old pack and replace all of the cells? Photos will always help.

There is a chance that the BMS when power is lost will wipe some of its storage and prevent future use. Is there a communication wire for authentication?
Does the charger output any voltage without the pack connected?
