High Voltage Digital Pots.
« on: October 13, 2022, 10:42:42 pm »
G'day all,
i have been searching high and low for these for a couple of months now. I am looking for 100K and 50K digital pots that are 18V tolerant. I also need then to be SPI with daisy chain ability.
There are a couple of options via Element14 etc. However they are out of stock and wont be available in the near future.
Does anyone know of a chinese part that i can use? I have checked LCSC but can't seem to find anything that will handle this voltage.

Regards

I've never seen such. All devices I've seen were 5/3.3V only. May be an alternative option would be a DAC+opamp? How are you going to use your digipot?

The current design is for 5v logic with up to 18v across the wiper of the pot. The device is a audio system that will use 8 of these pots using spi. Hopefully i can daisy chain the spi on the pots  to minimise pin usage on the mcu. Unfortunately the MCP41HV series do not daisy chain.
