ESP32-S2 Version of a Raspberry Pi CM3
Informatic0re:
Hey Guys,
I made a ESP32-S2 Board in the footprint of the SO-DIMM-DDR2 which is the same as a Raspberry Pi CM3 and I also made it pin compatible with it!
I am also running a CrowdSupply campaign where I am looking for help to make the project real: https://www.crowdsupply.com/open-things/openthing-1-esp-cm3 <--
So please help me and subscribe in the link above if you are interested.
But of course the project is also fully open-source! You can find the project on Hackaday: https://hackaday.io/project/189526-so-dimm-esp32-s2-cm
or also on GitHub: https://github.com/open-thngs/so-dimm-esp32-cm
It is OSHW Certified already as well. So if you are eager to help me, give me feedback or anything! I would be very happy about it.
Thanks! Tell me what you think or also just ask questions!

It's fantastic. Where did you print this PCB from?
Informatic0re:
You mean the supplier for the PCB? I am always using PCBWay or JLCPCB for my prototypes because it seems to be the fastest. But once I am producing more I am going with a German PCB Assembly company (because I am living in Germany). It is not as cheap but also not very much more expensive. And I save customs and tax if I do that - and as well I have real contact person which I can talk to if there are troubles.

I generally like the idea of people asking for monetary support for their hardware/software projects but it strikes me a bit odd that you would make your very first post on this forum about your project.
Informatic0re:
I totally understand that - I also do not feel very happy about it because I would feel the same way tbh.
My issue is I only need 5 more subscribers to get to the next stage with that Project so it actually can be crowdfunded so I thought I give it a try in this Forum.
As well: I am not selling anything right now and I do not ask for money, I am just simply looking for people who are interested in this project. Of course I could fill this missing 5 subscribers with fake-mails or whatever, but whats the point of doing that, right? And as far as I understand this category where my post is in, it says: "show off". Thats actually what I am doing :)
But yes - I am not really active in this Forum or any Forum, I just prefer other ways like the Hackaday project pages or similar. And yes - I created the account just to ask and "show off" because I am missing this damn 5 subscribers. I hope you can forgive me :)
