| Fake ST SGS Thomson Part (GS-R405S) |
| (1/1) |
| andybarrett1:
Looking for a little help. We have purchased some GS-R405S from a reputable seller here in UK. I have the feeling with have both been duped by his seller. (1) There is a label with the makers details on the top of the device ... Not screen printed ! (2) The tolerances are miles out for the pin spacing etc. Over 3mm (3) A couple have bounced back on me now as well as a fail on the bench (4) Have seen china sellers on ebay selling same batch / date code on ebay again on the label Just looking to see what others think :-// :-// Thank you for reading BR Andy |

You know that´s an obsolete part so as supplies are getting low... The problem is also that´s it´s potted... not going to be easy removing all that... But it might be parts that were indeed marketed for the Chinese market and are just reappearing, try to save non-function-critical costs isn´t that crazy, especially if they try to sell in a competitive market. About the tolerances, are you absolutely sure it´s the same variant? It could be the same part but not the same variant. Try to de-pot the failed one! The devil is in the details, meanwhile contact your seller, things like that happen all the time. |
