2oz to 1oz Cu reduction, what to worry about?

Hi All
I have been asked to see if I can reduce the copper thickness on a bunch of boards from 2oz to 1oz. Most of these boards are LED drivers while others have a few impedance controlled tracks
So my question is, what sort of things should I be worried about when reducing the Cu thickness? So far my checklist is:
Check heat-sinking capability is adequate
Check trace width is adequate for specified current
Check track impedance is within tolerance

Thermal simulation is difficult, by far it's easiest to just order prototypes, test in worst-case ambient temperature and monitor board and component temperatures.
