Hello,
im currently doing a college project which involves a raspberry pi with a 7" sainsmart tft touch screen display connected to it.
The LCD itself is prety good but comes with this massive HDMI to LVDS/TTL display output which is quite generic.
the board in question is this one:
are there any known schematics for this board?
reason being is that i would like to redesign it so that i can remove the inverter, vga, s-video and all the various other connectors in which i do not use so that i can shrink the board down to a minimal size to be able to fit it all in a case.
it will also allow me to redesign its power supply so that it is able to supply the pi and the LCD from the same power source (a battery pack).
does anyone know if this schematic exists anywhere?
thanks.

This board (http://www.chalk-elec.com/?page_id=1283#!/~/product/id=14647633) might be useful for you.

Is there a similar board to that but instead of having the LVDS output pins is there one that has the 50Pin TTL connector (Number 12 in original post image - im unsure of the name of that connector unfortunatly)

See pinout of RTD2662 here (http://monitor.espec.ws/download.php?id=95838), and datasheet of the related RTD2660 (http://aitendo3.sakura.ne.jp/aitendo_data/product_img/lcd_controller/Xs/RTD2660.jsp.pdf), and this schematic of an RTD2660-based monitor (http://www.go-gddq.com/upload/2013-09/13090613384708.jpg) for some ideas.
There's this Russian site (use Google Translate if you can't read) (http://openrtd2662.ru/) which could have some useful info too.
I've attached a schematic of an RTD2662 TV that I found here (http://www.520101.com/html/mappaper/tclpaper/152503517.html).
