Finding HDMI to MIPI bridge IC
« on: September 17, 2019, 01:37:40 pm »
Hi.

Not sure this is the correct part of this forum, but i'll give it a go.

I've been looking at getting the Toshiba TC358870XBG to interface with a 5.5" 1080 phone display over HDMI for a project at work.
But it has been a mess trying to get a datasheet that has application example and the register setup for configuration the DSI MIPI protocol.
The official datasheet do not contain these.

When i finally got hold of Toshiba, they sent me the official datasheet and told me the product is EOL.

So, now I'm wondering if anyone knows of any similar IC here I can actually get a hold of the full datasheet.
It's not a problem if the datasheet is under NDA as this is work related.

The only requirement of the interface is that it can do HDMI to DSI MIPI.

Thanks in advance.

Try Lontium,
http://www.lontiumsemi.com/product/View_23.html

They are quite responsive, I had the datasheet and reference schematic in almost 1 day.
