Title: Getting SMD components' equivalent
Post by: abdulbadii on October 15, 2021, 03:05:20 am
How is the easiest, best way to get SMD components' equivalent, i.e. its ordinary thru-hole components?
I need 1N5711W diode as a usual pin/thru-hole one

1N5711? Anything starting with 1N is generic diode that's going to come in variety of packages.

The 1N5711W is not a generic diode, but is rather a Schottky diode.  A through hole 1N5711 should work for you.

We all have a brain fart sometimes.

I use "generic" in the sense that it's a standardized, non proprietary, commodity part.
