'Gold' finish BNC Sockets
(1/1)
German_EE:
I am looking for some 'gold' finish single hole BNC sockets, yeah, I know that it's not real gold but this is being done so that the BNC sockets on a piece of equipment match the other connectors. My Google Fu has failed me so does anyone know of a source?
I need three
reboots:
Are the sockets for video (75-ohm characteristic impedance) or another application (typically 50-ohm)?
RF Parts has a gold-plated 50-ohm BNC female bulkhead jack:
https://www.rfparts.com/connectors/connectors-bnc/bnc-panelpcb/ug1094a-u-g.html
RF Parts are based in the US, and they have a $20 minimum order before shipping, but they say they will ship internationally.
There's also this P/N OL1548 from China:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/191084386919
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1568759861.html
It appears to be intended for a PCB end-launch configuration, so it might require some creative soldering. Characteristic impedance isn't specified, and the gold plating may not be entirely authentic.

And we have a winner! Thank you to reboots, the sockets from RF Parts are just what I am looking for. Looking through the site I am sure that I will find something that will bring the order over 20 USD.
