How square should a 300kHz square wave on a HP204D be?
« on: May 16, 2023, 05:44:56 pm »
My latest addition to my collection op HP instruments arrived today: an HP204D.
The square wave is really nice until I get in the 300kHz range, see the picture.
Should I be worried, or is this normal?

If I read the display correctly, the rise time (about 500 ns) is the same at both frequencies, but (of course) the time/div is lower on the higher frequency display.
This is normal.
