raspberry pi a+ overclock to 1GHz????
« on: January 30, 2015, 12:56:06 pm »
hi everyone!
i recently got the raspberry pi a+ but still use my b+ more because it is more tidy and has more ports etc. and i was on the raspberry pi website and i saw this thing saying that you can overclock your pi to 1GHz. it also said don't expect your bcm2835 to live for very long because it will reach up to upto 85 degrees Celsius.
has anyone done this? should i do this or will there be a big burn mark on my floor?
yes i know that i will have to use thermoelectric coolers to keep it slightly cool but has anyone done this and if so is it worth it?
thanks!
(PS don't be to harsh because i am only 14 and i dont know everything)   :)

I didn't take it apart.
I turned it on.

The only stupid question is, well, most of them...

Save a fuse...Blow an electrician.
