Channel Equalization in DSP processor
« on: March 06, 2017, 03:58:43 pm »
Hi.

I am trying to implement an adaptive channel equalization techniques to reduce noise and ISI effect of a channel in a DSP processor. I am using a Texas Instrument OMAP LCDK board for this project.

I need some guidance as I am quite new to the realm of Digital Signal Processors. Can anyone tell me how to proceed with this topic?

Thank you for your help.

An adaptive filter is an extremely difficult first project to implement in hardware.  So many things can go wrong.  Start with a fixed FIR filters, verify, and go from there.
