« on: December 11, 2017, 01:32:47 pm »
Hi. I want to buy a DE-5000 LCR meter but there is talk about various copies available on the net. There are a few vendors on Ebay. Does anyone know if any of these vendors are genuine?

Thanks

Not come across a copy myself, however, all the vendors on ebay are in Japan, so I think you are good to go :). (How do I know this ? - I emailed ALL of them to ask for a lower declared value on the customs form - (Just for 'research' of course. ::)) and they will not do it - none of them - it is extremely difficult to do from Japan.
Some good prices though !, but , unfortunately, not when you add duty and vat (ipo) etc.  :'(

mine came off ebay from Japan, i can't vouch for current sellers but mine cost me about £90+shipping a couple of years ago

most of these meters come via japan and i'd trust a Japanese seller over most others TBH
