Hacking the Bosch mini-split heat pump

I know some out there have hacked the Mitsubishi mini-split to attach a Raspberry Pi for direct bi-directional control, but has anyone done that for the Bosch? I’ve started to, but haven’t gotten very far:

Also, I suspect this unit is made by someone else, or by Bosch for other brands. Does anyone know?
