Hamon Divider on pcb
(1/1)
Tj138waterboy:
This seemed like a useful addition to the growing pile of volt-nut tinker tools I have collected and I haven't seen it offered in a version other than instructions on how to build or in expensive calibrators. Looking for critique on layout and electrical design rule specifically on guard ring. Any issues pointed out would be appreciated. I aimed to make this as user and budget friendly as possible by giving option to use multi-turn trimmers and or paralleling same value resistor with added low value resistor in series to trim. Im not great with making pcb footprints so I reused a dual throughhole/surface mount layout as well as dual option for trimpot package. Designed to be be housed on top of a hammond 1590 project enclosure.
Will try to add better layout and placement notes later.
Updated to include footprints for multiple package size voltage references and or input for your own.
