Help identifiy component
« on: December 31, 2019, 09:02:35 pm »
I have this out of a GM digital a/c head that controls the temperature. it has no stops built in and I dont see any numbers. What do I need to look for?  I can get some more detailed pics under the microscope if needed. It has 3 legs on one side and 2 on the other with 2 ground tabs in the middle. Thanks Michael

Well ordered the wrong one, it’s is a 18 detent and has 3 pins on one side and 2 on the other with 2 ground pins. How do I narrow my search or what’s the best way to look it up.  Do I search for a certain package type or pin type? Totally lost. If I just put rotary encoder, I get 2500 results. Thanks
