| Help identifying a stackable connector |
| (1/1) |
| BenonymousII:
Can anyone assist me in identifying this connector. I think I've narrowed it down to a Molex type but googling "MXJ" that appears on the top of the connector dos not result in any specific result. It's amazing how difficult it is to ident an unknown connector in this era, so many options! Thanks in advance for any assistance. |

"MXJ" means it's a part which came out of Molex Japan. You're looking for a board-to-board connector; best bet is probably to search for SMD, board-to-board interconnect (there's a term for it... mezzanine?) and the right number of pins, then see which mechanical drawing looks most similar to your part. Thanks for the reply Phil :) |

The big connector manufacturers have pretty useful search mechanisms on their sites, so if you can identify the manufacturer, measure the pin pitch, and count the contacts... you are likely able to find your part exactly. Definitely a high speed board to board mezzanine connector of some sort. |

Cheers DaJMasta, I'll give that a go :) |
