Hi, I'm wondering if anybody can help identify this component? It came from a 12v-240v inverter and was across the 240vac output. It failed short circuit (component tester show it as a 0.03ohm resistor). I'm guessing from the 103k that it's a 10nF cap,
but I was unable to determine what the 26 above that indicated. Any advice on a replacement component? Thanks.
Edit: After digging a bit, I realised that the marking must be 2G (not 26 as I had read it as first) which indicates 400VDC. This surprises me since it's across the 240VAC output of the inverter, so I would have expected an AC rated cap. Does anyone know if it would be wise to replace it with a different cap, perhaps a 2T (250VAC) rated cap?
