Has anyone seen n-mosfet gate driver chips with built in boost/ isolated-power, which are reasonably priced and not more expensive than the mosfet they are being used to drive. I would class reasonably priced as like 50c.
All the high side driver ICs contain them so they cant be that hard to make.
You need to clarify what you mean by
boost/ isolated-power, Standard half Bridge high voltage drivers like x2103 have boost/bootstrap and have high voltage level shifting.
Usually you do not need full galvanic isolation Hi to LO side as the bridge is connected.
Sometimes designers want 100% duty cycle, in which case you need either charge pump (for modest powers) or simple transformer isolation.
Nexperia have just released an example of SOT packaged transformer driver
https://www.nexperia.com/product/NXF6501DC-Q100 If you add that type of power path, you can get 100% from the lowest cost drivers.
