High Accuracy Thermocouple Card - PCB Reveiw
« on: June 16, 2019, 04:53:40 am »
Building an expandable thermocouple logger with as high a final accuracy as I can manage, starting with 12 channels, but may need to expand out to 48 channels later,

I'm not as familiar with the micro volt world and very low voltage ADC measurements, So felt I would post this up to see if anything obvious needs fixing, the goal is for the PCB to not be the limiting factor of this set up, they will plug into a back plane PCB that will let me swap in / out with other existing modules

The spacing between the boards is 12mm which ends up leaving a 1.3mm gap for this particular PCB, would it be worthwhile adding a foam strip along the board to cover the active electronics and fill most of that gap?

There are other devices out there that can do this, but for the price, It will end up being more convenient with my own hardware as I can use the same hardware with other cards
