Hi guys/gals,

Do you know of a type of products that would generate HDMI signal from a bitmap in the external RAM or internal RAM that was previously filled using SPI/I2C?
I'm trying to avoid the use of FPGA if possible for that purpose.

Many thanks!

I'm not seeing any controllers for SPI interface, HDMI output.  Plenty for LCD, even one for analog video.  Maybe you can pair one with a <video>-to-HDMI converter chip?

It's not going to be pretty, in terms of draw speed.

Thx Tim! Yeah, I've searched far and wide. It's seems that FPGA will be the approach :D
